Women of Destiny
PROVERBS 31 :25-26
Strength and honour (dignity) are her clothing, she shall rejoice in time to come she opens her mouth with wisdom and her tongue is the law of kindness.
As it is well known, life is a journey. The moment we are born the journey of life begins. God created each one of us for a purpose and we all have a destiny. Just like every journey has a final destination, our lives have a destiny which God want us to reach. As a woman journeys through life she encounters a lot of obstacles which either slows her down or make her want to quit.
She loses her strength , her dignity and life becomes meaningless and eventually she feels she has nothing to offer on earth, not even wisdom to the younger generation. She encounters pain and rejection as she grows up and wonders whether her journey of finding love will ever be reached. She’s taken advantage of and robbed of the very thing that make her a woman. Her heart is broken and crashed she’s so disappointed when she discovers the happy ever after only existed in fairly tales.
She gives birth to a child whom she loves so much. She sacrifices her life for that child, raises it the best way possible and only to end up with a broken heart as the child rebels against her. She gives up her life serving and loving others . She’s so selfless and hard working that her body easily deteriorates. Her husband misses the fresh girl with so much to offer, instead of helping her freshen up he runs after younger girls to satisfy his desires, the woman of his youth end up neglected and rejected.
She grows old and only to be forgotten, the only thing that is remembered about her is that old lady over there. When God created a woman, He made her with so much strength that she can survive anything. Dignity (honor) is what defines her so do not take it away from her. She is so ambitious and hard working, the best planner and manager, no wonder she is not afraid of the days to come. She finds it easy to submit and through that she learns even more, no wonder she is full of wisdom. The law of kindness puts a seal on her, that’s why she is called WOMAN.
I believe that God’s desire for every woman is that she reaches her destiny of:
• STRENGTH (be a pillar of her family no matter what)
• DIGNITY (Return and maintain her dignity and self worth and also build up her self esteem)
• INDEPENDENT ( Be confident, hard working and exercise faith in God knowing that he takes care of her tomorrow.)• WISDOM (obtain her full age, grow in wisdom through studying of the word of God and pass it on to the next generation.
So what transport will she use?
• Intense teaching of the word of God
• Preaching of the word
• Reality meetings (Talks with professionals such as doctors, hair dressers)
• Pampering meetings (picnics, tea parties)
• Seminars
• Prayer meetings / socking meetings.
